Packing up in London and preparing for South Africa

Hey Guys,

It's amazing how your name is mentioned in the papers and then lot's of views on my blog ha. But it's good and anyone is welcome to read what I put up on here, always a bit of fun and giving an insight into what I get up to work wise.

So, my last day in London today I have been packing up all my things as I will be away for 7 - 8 weeks. Been stressing a bit (no shock for me), but steadily getting everything done and by the time I'm on my way to the airport Sunday it will be too late by then ha ha. Got to take a variety of clothes for different conditions in Cape Town, but should be fine. Though I have been told not to take any clothes with big logos on, which for guys is often a lot tougher than it is for girls. You name it got to bring it, but will be absolutely fine I'm sure........aaaarrrggghhh.

I have not a clue what will happen when I am out there, how the show will work, but I do know I will be staying in the "Bud House" the entire time I am out there, so even if England have an early exit, which their not going to do!!!! I hope! Just going to be an experience of a life time, 32 people from 32 different countries and 32 different cultures with 32 different personalities but with one common, the love of football! It's going to be incredible and I really can't wait to meet everyone and to get to know (if possible) all 32 people.

Contact Lens Job - Amazing how its shot

Hi all, Yesterday I had a job for a contact lens company that to be honest I didnt really know too much about what the job entailed. I arrived a nice late call time of half 10 to see a studio that was filled with people and everything was in the process of being set up. It was a commercial, or so I thought. What I then found out a bit later was that I was shooting a "how to use contact lenses" video for the companies website. Shipwrecked - where it all began

Hey anyone who's reading this, So, I'm going back in time a little bit here, OK 3 and a half years, but this is where my new life all began. Over 100,000 people applied to be on Shipwrecked Battle of the Islands 2007, and I was 1 of an extremely fortunate group of about 31 (something like that) that were given the opportunity to participate on this show. After a somewhat short audition process I was some what rushed through and told I had under 2 weeks till I was going to be on the show! You can imagine my ridiculously excited response to all this, leading to me getting on the wrong train home that night from London! Who cared though! Not me! During the audition process I happened to speak a lot to a girl who also was told shes going on the show! This was unheard of! We weren't suppose to be talking but knowing that she was going to be there a week before me certainly helped put my mind at ease. First of all excuse the expression on my face ha ha - difficult capturing a screen shot whilst live on TV and you never know what kind of faces you will be pulling ha. I'm also sure those who are watching probably see me do things and say things that I have no idea why I'm saying ha, so I apologise for that.
